LEFT ON MISSION writer trys to sell his hardcover TMNT for a lot of money on eBay
So I saw that Kevin Eastman sold the original art for issue 1 of TMNT on eBay for $250,000. So I thought it would be a good time to sell my signed limited edition hardcover TMNT that I got back in 1988. Now I just don't have the hardback - I have all the items that it came with including the orginal envelope with the Turtles stamp, the letter of apology, the apology gift certificate, and the receipt that had some art on it too. The coolest thing about this item is that Eastman and Peter Laird did actual drawings on the book when they signed it. So I put it on eBay here.
I though it was funny that Eastman was getting a lot of press for this so I decided to put a post on Comicne.ws here. Just for a laugh right?
But now the joke has taken a life of it's own and some other comic blogs are posting the "story."

This is just too funny. I mean the book is rare and I am sure someone will enjoy all the items I have saved for 19 years that went with it. But this has just gotten to be too much.
I love it.

Good luck with the sale, I might put in a bid myself. Why not?
